Diagrama FoundationOur online question and answer sessions where adoptive parents shared their personal experiences, were particularly well-received. The sessions covered a wide range of topics, including adopting children with complex needs, older children, and siblings, as well as Early Permanency placements.
The personal stories that were shared resonated deeply with many prospective parents, and we hope has inspired them to take the next step in their adoption journey.
The response to Big Adoption Day has been truly heartening. We've seen a marked increase in enquiries from individuals and couples and this surge of interest is crucial, given that there are currently 2,410 children waiting to be adopted across England, with 1,110 having waited more than 18 month.
As we move forward in 2025 our goal remains clear: to find loving homes for all the children waiting to be adopted. With the incredible response we've seen, we're more optimistic than ever about achieving this goal. Thank you to everyone who participated in Big Adoption Day 2025. Your interest and enthusiasm bring us one step closer to ensuring every child has a permanent, loving home.
